Your journey begins with a conversation. A Journey South representative will discuss your travel goals, must-see destinations, and personal interests. The more details you share, the better we can craft the perfect itinerary.
For in-depth itinerary planning, we may require a non-refundable planning fee, which will be applied to the total trip cost when you book.
1: Consultation & Planning
Once you're happy with your itinerary and ready to move forward, we’ll require a non-refundable deposit of 25% per person to confirm your reservations. This allows us to secure all land arrangements, including accommodations, tours, and transfers.
If we are assisting with airfare, we recommend purchasing tickets at this stage to lock in the best rates. Any additional supplier deposits or airfare payments will be advised at this time. For bookings made within 8 weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
We will also request copies of your passports and advise on any necessary visa requirements at this stage.
2: Booking & Deposits
HOW TO BOOK YOUR JOURNEY

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a detailed itinerary and invoice. If any original services are unavailable, we will work with you to find suitable alternatives.
Please note that pricing may change if different suppliers are used, but we will discuss any adjustments with you before proceeding.
3: Confirmation & Adjustments
The final balance for your trip is due 8 weeks before departure.
Approximately 3 weeks before your departure, you will receive your final travel documents, including confirmed reservations, supplier contact details, and a 24-hour helpline for any assistance while traveling.
Please note that any last-minute itinerary changes may cause a delay in document delivery.
